This Saturday, the people of Caracas flooded the Diego Ibarra barracks, headquarters of the Presidential Honor Guard, to participate in the day of registration in the Bolivarian National Militia, said the commander of this military unit, G/B Oscar Quevedo.

“The massive participation has overwhelmed this barracks, so we have set up a contingency plan to be able to serve all those people who have come to register with the Militia and join the defense of the Fatherland,” said Quevedo.

In this regard, he highlighted the receptivity of Venezuelans who have accepted the call of President Nicolás Maduro to join this military component, in the face of the threats that loom over our country.

“This day has left us with a very positive balance. Our people are determined to be definitely free and have demonstrated in these days of registration, when they have come out to participate with dedication, with care, to fill the Bolívar barracks and squares,” he stressed.
