Solidarity activists from Equatorial Guinea, Burkina Faso and Cuba gathered at the Venezuelan Embassy in Malabo and expressed their support for the Bolivarian people and Government, as well as their rejection of any threat from the United States (USA).
According to a press release from the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, during the visit to the diplomatic headquarters, the group delivered a statement to Ambassador Ana Pino Pasquier, in which she expressed its categorical rejection of any form of military intervention, economic blockade or diplomatic blackmail against Venezuela.
“The use of force, unilateral coercive measures and media manipulation cannot and should not replace popular will,” the text emphasizes.
The international community is also urged not to be complicit in disinformation campaigns and to collaborate in understanding and peace between nations.
Those present highlighted that Venezuela is a country of struggling, courageous, united and hardworking people, who want to live in peace.
“Venezuela is not a threat, it is a hope,” they said, while calling for an end to the attacks affecting the stability and tranquility of Latin America and the Caribbean.
