Pitcher Edwar Colina will play with Senators in the LMB

The ninth in the capital, Senators of Caracas, announced the signing of pitcher Edwar Colina for the 2024 Major League Baseball (LMB) season.

Edwar Colina, a 26-year-old right-handed pitcher, has just pitched with Navegantes de Magallanes in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) 2023-2024 and according to specialized press reference in 22 games, all as relievers, he was 7.36 effective by allowing 16 clean runs in 18.1 innings, in addition to striking out 11 rivals and awarding eight tickets.

Quoted by the sports media, the pitcher said he was “quite excited about this new opportunity to play with Senators from Caracas.”
