Plan Antonio José de Sucre brought extreme cycling to the Petare peaks

Zone 6 of the José Félix Ribas neighborhood of the Petare parish in the Sucre municipality, was the scene of the Petare en Alta sports event, Urban Series in the style of Downhill Bike, an urban cycling competition where a large group of athletes participated, who demonstrated their skills and abilities on 2 wheels.
This event was organized by the Antonio José de Sucre Plan, led by the Deputy, Pedro Infante, the organization La Fuga Bike Park and the Mayor's Office of the Sucre Municipality, with the purpose of continuing to promote sports mass, and to publicize the positive experiences that take place in Petare and that will be extended to the entire jurisdiction.
The route started in the Julián Blanco sector, following the stairs of the Los Pocitos sector, then through the La Montañita sector, making jumps to reach La Bombilla and ending in the José Félix Ribas neighborhood to zone 6, where the point of arrival is located. Traveling more than 2 kilometers between stairs and alleys.
The spectators, residents of the neighborhood, observed the activity from their windows, their platabandas, from the doors of their houses, marveling at the skills, mastery and speed of the participating athletes.
Carlos Terán, a visitor from Mérida, won first place in the competition, followed by Miguel Díaz, from Caracas, who came in third place, a visitor from San Cristóbal, Saúl Molina, the fourth place was crowned by Rances Gómez de Caracas and the fifth place went to the capital's Will Yosorde.
