The Venezuela Renacería Plan teams were deployed in the Club Altamira development, located in the parish of Santa Teresa del Tuy, to carry out the demolition and controlled dismantling of the structures affected by the two earthquakes of last June 24,
The information was released by the Government of Miranda through its Instagram account, in which it specified that technicians carry out specialized work to safely remove walls and compromised elements in 160 apartments.
The objective of these efforts is to reduce risks for neighboring communities and to advance the recovery of the sector.
In addition, direct care is offered to resident families. Of these, 47 have already been relocated to the temporary camp of the Mother Mary Private Educational Unit, where they receive the necessary support.
This intervention is part of the schedule coordinated by the Venezuela Reborn Plan, which includes evaluation, reconstruction and social assistance tasks in areas affected by the seismic emergency.
For his part, the mayor of the municipality of Independence, Rayner Pulido, explained that more than 110 families from Teresense resided in these houses, and confirmed the transfer of the first 47 to temporary shelter.
