Plane with 61 passengers in Brazil crashes leaving no survivors

A plane with 61 people on board crashed today in Sao Paulo, Brazil, leaving no survivors, local and international media reported that presented sensitive images of this tragedy.

The aircraft was traveling from Cascavel, in Paraná (south), to Sao Paulo airport, but it crashed into the town of Vinhedo, a town located about 80 km northwest of Sao Paulo, with 57 passengers and 4 crew members.

“The company regrets to report that all 61 people on board flight 2283 died on the spot (...) at this time, VOEPASS is giving priority to providing unrestricted assistance to the families of the victims and collaborating with the authorities to determine the causes of the accident.”

Images broadcast by local media showed a plane crash in what appears to be a housing area.
