PNB dismantled cocaine distribution point in Táchira

Officials of the Bolivarian National Police Force (CPNB), attached to the Anti-Drug Division, arrested a citizen in the Via Cordero sector, in the Andrés Bello municipality of the state of Táchira, as part of the patrolling and intelligence efforts being carried out in strategic areas of the country.

During the operation, according to a press release from the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace, 48 wrappers of an alleged cocaine-type drug, weighing approximately one kilo 971 grams, were seized.

A checkbook, scissors, three cell phones, two motorcycles and an identity card were also withheld.

The citizen was arrested on the spot and placed under the order of the Public Ministry for the beginning of the corresponding judicial process.
