Poland does not plan to send its military to Ukraine, even after the end of hostilities in that country, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said after a meeting of the heads of state and government of the coalition of those willing in Paris.

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, reported at this meeting that 26 States have confirmed their willingness to participate in sending a military contingent to Ukraine after the establishment of a ceasefire or peace in this country.

Poland, as we have repeatedly emphasized, does not plan to send soldiers to Ukraine, even after the end of the war. We take care of the logistics,” Tusk said at a press conference before leaving France.

On September 4, a meeting of the members of the 'coalition of the willing' was held in Paris, at which, among other things, security guarantees for Ukraine will be discussed.

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, previously stated that the 'coalition' already has 30 member countries, some of which participated in the debates via videoconference.

Among the participants, the TASS agency indicated that there is White House special envoy Steve Witkoff, who previously also held a private meeting with Vladimir Zelenski.

The Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, previously stated in an interview with the American television channel NBC News that the issue of security guarantees surrounding the Ukrainian agreement should be resolved “through a consensus that takes into account the fundamental interests of Russia”.

He also emphasized that ensuring security guarantees for Ukraine through “foreign military intervention in some part of Ukrainian territory” would be unacceptable to Russia.
