The Community Councils, Communes, Social Movements and Popular Power will be mobilized this Tuesday, December 10, to commemorate the 165th Anniversary of the Battle of Saint Agnes, the Ministry of Popular Power of Communes and Social Movements announced in a press release on its website.

He points out that the day is part of the December celebrations, in which the community, peasant, worker and student people, “will ride with Zamora to Caracas from all the states of the country, in this activity it is promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture”.

Regarding the starting point, he specified that it will be in the administrative building of the CANTV on Libertador Avenue in Caracas, up to the Miraflores Palace, “where the Popular Power together with the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, will honor the feat of the General of the Sovereign People Ezequiel Zamora; as well as the memory of our commander Chávez, who invoked the epic battle to achieve another of his great electoral victories in 2005”.

This great caravan will be full of banners, troupes, slogans and all the mystique typical of the Venezuelan people, “demonstrating once again that there is a people in permanent resistance that fights against colonialism, imperialism and the country's stateless right.”
