PORTUGUESE - AGUA BLANCA/Rodríguez: Community production will spearhead the economic model

The president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez, during a meeting with producers from various agricultural sectors in the Portuguese state, in the Agua Blanca municipality, Morrocoy hamlet, specified that communal production must become the spearhead of the construction of the new national economic model.

He also indicated the need for private companies and public companies to work together with communal producers, in order to consolidate mechanisms aimed at strengthening the agricultural capacities of the Venezuelan countryside.

Rodríguez, asserted that communal meetings in agricultural communities must become new forms of relationship between authorities, community members and peasants to directly address needs.

He also pointed out that the National Pilgrimage must become the main measuring factor for the optimal functioning of public services in the country.
