This Friday, April 26, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, acknowledged and sent a loving embrace to the People of Turén, in the Portuguese state, who took to the streets to express their support for the Revolution and in rejection of the Yankee criminal blockade.

“A tremendous march that you have made (...) a hug to the People of Turén, to the women, the leaders, to the fighting men, to the beautiful youth, but above all a hug for the boys and girls of Turin,” said the Head of State to the People, during a telephone contact with the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, who led the mobilization.

He also announced that he will soon be visiting the Town of Turin. “I admire you, I admire that strength that you have there,” he said.

He reaffirmed that together with them and all the people of Venezuela, “we are going forward affirming, conquering and building the future of the socialist, free and sovereign homeland.”
