President Delcy Rodríguez arrived in Barbados to fulfill the bilateral agenda

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, arrived in Barbados this Sunday to begin an official visit with a view to deepening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
Upon her arrival at Grantley Adams International Airport in Bridgetown, the president was received with military honors corresponding to her high position.
On her trip, Rodríguez arrived accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes the sector vice president of Communication and Culture, Miguel Ángel Pérez Pirela; the Minister of the Office of the Presidency, Juan Francisco Escalona; and the Deputy Minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi.
This visit marks a historic milestone as it is the first time that Rodríguez has visited the island nation since taking office in January 2026. It also represents his second international trip after his recent tour of Granada, consolidating Venezuela's diplomatic presence in the Caribbean in less than a month.
