President (E) Delcy Rodríguez announced the creation of the Venezuela Startup Chapter (+funding fund)

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Thursday the creation of the Startup Venezuela Chapter, the closing of
the II International Congress of Entrepreneurs Tech Week 2026,
held for four days in Caracas.
In addition, the president in charge, instructed the activation of
a funding fund to support entrepreneurs in their participation
in international events, “which, like this one, seeks to concentrate the
global ecosystem of those who are in full development, innovation, incubation
of projects, ideas and to give impetus to this sector in the country.”
He also highlighted the creation, in all public and private
universities, of the free chair of entrepreneurship, innovation and startup.
“We are going to give a special impetus in this direction.”
“I would like the science and technology fund to also
allocate a percentage for the creation of funds to finance, support and
support the projects of our youth in the technological area,” he added.
