The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated the start of the 2026 World Cup this Thursday and wished luck to the countries participating in this great international sporting event.
“In Venezuela, we enthusiastically celebrate the beginning of this great sporting festival that unites the peoples of the world. Let the ball roll and may the best one win!” , wrote the president in charge on her Telegram channel.
In a video that accompanied the publication, Rodríguez expressed his good wishes to the three countries of the continent that host the championship: Canada, the United States and Mexico. “Congratulations to all the teams that are participating, we wish them all the best. The soccer world cup is starting and Venezuela is also excited,” she said.
