President (E) Delcy Rodríguez congratulates Prime Minister Philip Davis on electoral victory in Bahamas

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Wednesday the demonstration of the commitment of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas to the popular will following the electoral victory of Prime Minister Philip Davis.
“We congratulate the people and Government of the Bahamas for the exemplary democratic day experienced in the general elections of 2026, a sign of their nation's commitment to popular will and institutional stability,” said the president in charge on her Telegram channel.
In this regard, he extended his recognition to the Liberal Progressive Party (PLP) and Davis “for the renewed confidence that the Bahamian people have placed in their leadership.”
Finally, Rodríguez reaffirmed Venezuela's will “to continue strengthening the historic ties of friendship, cooperation and Caribbean solidarity between our peoples.”
