The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Thursday the closing of the II
International Congress of Entrepreneurs Tech Week 2026, held for four days, at the Simón Bolívar Park Convention Center in La
Carlota, Miranda state.
The event was the meeting point for more than 600
participants from 50 countries in Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, the Eurasian
region and Latin America.
“The first word ecosystem that exists today in the country is the hope
ecosystem and the future ecosystem for the Venezuelan people. And this
type of event undoubtedly pays in that direction,” said the president in charge.
He recalled that the COVID-19 pandemic allowed the development
of projects, “which allowed, starting in the year 2020-2021, many very creative ideas to
be known and that were going to pay for the lives of
Venezuelans and Venezuelans, to make it easier in the midst of what was quarantine.”
Since then, he explained, more than 2
million entrepreneurs have registered in the Entrepreneur Together program, “who have also
had support in funding programs exceeding the equivalent of one billion
dollars.”
