This Friday, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a courtesy meeting in New Delhi with the ambassador of the United States (USA) to India, Sergio Gor, to review progress on the bilateral agenda.
This meeting is part of the president's official tour of Asia, with the objective of strengthening strategic ties and evaluating new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
“I held a courtesy meeting with the United States ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, about advances in our bilateral relationship for the benefit of both countries,” the president wrote through her Telegram channel.
This diplomatic dialogue allowed us to continue the recent working groups held in Caracas, focusing on regional stability and cooperation in strategic sectors.
During the session, both parties exchanged views on the current state of relations and explored mechanisms of understanding that would make it possible to move towards a dynamic of mutual respect and mutual benefit.
This appointment consolidates the diplomatic work of the president during her visit to India, where she has also fulfilled an intense work schedule. The Bolivarian Government ratified its commitment to maintain open communication channels with various global actors, stressing that peace diplomacy is the fundamental path to guarantee economic prosperity and the strengthening of national sovereignty.
