President (E) Delcy Rodríguez presented the agenda of agreements with Grenada

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held an important working meeting this Thursday, April 9, with the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, as part of her first international visit as president in charge, she seeks to strengthen regional unity and bilateral agreements for mutual benefit.
“I arrived in Grenada on my first international visit as President in Charge of Venezuela, to strengthen ties of brotherhood and cooperation in the Caribbean. I am grateful for the warm reception of your authorities, at the beginning of a work agenda aimed at deepening unity and shared development between our nations and following up on the strategic Roadmap signed in April 2025, when Prime Minister Mitchell visited Caracas. The current work agenda focuses on key areas of shared development,” said the president in charge.
He also stressed the importance of the Caribbean arc for the sovereignty and stability of the region, as well as consolidating Venezuela as a reliable strategic partner, raising the level of economic and political cooperation with neighboring nations.
From the seat of the Grenada parliament, the president explained that the agenda seeks to strengthen ties in areas of strategic cooperation such as education, science, energy and hydrocarbons, health, food production, as well as exchange in the field of languages.
He specified that the issue of foreign trade and the maritime delimitation of the two territories has been addressed using the formula of bilateral agreement. “We have set the start date for a major cooperation agenda that can incorporate other Caribbean countries,” he said.
