The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Cooperation of the Republic of Suriname, His Excellency Mr. Melvin Bouva, to enhance bilateral exchange and strengthen cooperation ties.
The President in Charge was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil and the Deputy Minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi.
The visit of the Foreign Minister of Suriname reaffirms the delegation's clear vision of its willingness to work closely with Venezuela to finalize agreements that energize the economies of both countries and promote stability in the Caribbean and the Amazon.
It should be noted that Venezuela has energy and gas potential, while Suriname has a strategic position of access to the Caribbean and the Amazon.
With this high-level meeting, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to Peace Diplomacy, prioritizing direct dialogue and strategic cooperation with partners in the region.
