President (E) Delcy Rodríguez urges respect for garbage disposal schedules

The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, called this Saturday for public awareness about the disposal of waste and to respect established schedules.

“In this first phase, we are distributing compactor trucks for the collection of solid waste that will be assigned to 11 states of the country,” said the President in Charge, during the delivery of 45 state-of-the-art Sinotruk HOWO compactor trucks for waste collection, from La Carlota in Caracas.

Rodríguez emphasized that it's not just about the truck, but about calling on the public conscience to respect garbage disposal schedules.

He also took the opportunity to call on citizens to work in an articulated manner with the different levels of government, in order to face the consequences of climate change and its impact on the national territory.

The President in Charge was accompanied by the Vice President of Public Services, Juan José Ramírez, the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano and the Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Freddy Ñáñez.
