President (E) recognized the commitment of the Italian company ENI to Venezuela

This Tuesday, April 28, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, recognized the Italian energy company ENI, which has maintained its commitment and cooperation ties with Venezuela.

“We are witnessing a very important moment for Venezuela (...) ENI did not leave the country, it maintained its ties and its gas production plans,” he said during the signing of the agreement between Petrleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) and ENI.

Rodríguez stressed that the European company has maintained its presence in the country and has continued its gas production plans, even in adverse contexts.

In addition, the head of state sent a message of thanks to the Italian Government and its people for supporting these cooperation agreements, describing this process as a significant step in strengthening international relations and in the recovery of the Venezuelan energy sector.
