The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, after her presence before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) where she reaffirmed Venezuela's historic position in defense of our Guiana Essequiba and the Geneva Agreement of 1966, expressed her pride in having defended the Homeland through the only valid legal instrument to resolve this territorial dispute through political, peaceful and diplomatic negotiation.

Always proud to be Venezuelans and to have defended our entire Venezuela in The Hague,” wrote the president in charge on her Telegram account, where she earlier reiterated that “Venezuela will never succumb to its historical rights or to the defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
