President (E) Rodríguez received representatives of the transport sector at the Miraflores Palace

This Wednesday, May 20, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led the First National Meeting of Public Transporters 2026, where representatives of the sector and the national government met to promote actions aimed at consolidating mobility policies and strengthening transportation services throughout the country.

The main objective of this day is to draw up the road map that will guide organized public transport in 2026 through this space for dialogue and exchange between the main actors of the union.

This instance is part of the development of the Homeland Plan of the Seven Great Transformations, specifically in the 2nd Transformation: Human City for Good Living, Public Services and Infrastructure.

During the activity, different authorities from the Executive Office were present, such as Juan José Ramírez, sector vice president of Works and Services and minister of Public Works; Jacqueline Faria, minister for Transport; among others.
