President (E) Rodríguez: Venezuela has become a food-producing power

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted, during the inauguration of the IV National Buffalo, Sheep and Goat Expo, the potential of the country's agri-food sector, which, in addition to guaranteeing food security, takes steps to generate foreign exchange to the country through the export of various meat products.
“What is important is the growth we represent for our region and for the world,” said the president, referring to the country's buffalo herd, which exceeds 3.5 million animals. He also called on producers to increase export volumes and compete in international markets, with the comparative advantages of producing in Venezuela.
He added that the National Government's Productive Agenda is designed to make the agri-food sector an export engine
“Venezuela has become a true food-producing power and those capacities must be at the service of international markets,” stressed the president from Simón Bolívar Park in La Carlota.
The IV Expo National Buffalo, Goat and Sheep Fair 2026; an event that consolidates itself as the epicenter of commercial and technological exchange in the field, and brings together more than 280 exhibitors and producers from all over the country.
