President (E) to the Red Cross: We confirm our commitment to continue strengthening this noble humanitarian work

The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, through her Telegram channel, recognized the work of the Venezuelan Red Cross.

“We recognized the outstanding work of the Venezuelan Red Cross in its auxiliary role to public authorities, praising its integration into the National Risk Management System, care for migrants and support for the most vulnerable communities,” he wrote.

Rodríguez “welcomed the President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies , Kate Forbes, and her senior authorities”, reiterating the State's commitment to strengthening the work of that institution, which she described as “noble and humanitarian”.
