The president in charge Delcy Rodríguez called for boosting poultry exports to the Caribbean because it is a natural market in Venezuela.
“The Caribbean is our natural market. We have extraordinary relationships and we are ready for Venezuelan products to cross our borders, strengthening the inflow of non-oil currencies,” Rodríguez said during a tour at the VII National Poultry Congress.
On the other hand, he emphasized that given the dynamic growth of the economy, the country recently registered the highest peak in electricity demand in the last nine years, “which requires a joint response.”
In this regard, he asked the private sector to make its electric self-generation capacities available to support the national system during periods of peak consumption.
He reiterated that the Bolivarian Government will formally present the Electric System Recovery Plan to the business chambers in the National Economic Council, with the objective of receiving technical contributions and solutions from the productive sector.
“The call is also for the general population to have a rational use of electrical energy,” he emphasized.
