President-in-Charge meets with representatives of oil companies in Spain and France

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting with representatives of the French oil company Maurel & Prom, including its executive director Olivier Cleret, and other managers in order to create great alliances for the strengthening of hydrocarbon production.

With this meeting, the French energy company Maurel & Prom has shown its willingness to continue working in Venezuela, knowing that the Organic Law on Hydrocarbons reaffirms sovereignty over energy resources and offers the necessary flexibility to attract domestic and foreign investment.

The meeting was also attended by the Executive Director of EMP International, José Carlos de Vicente Bravo, and the Director of the Business Unit of Repsol Venezuela, Luis García, who express their readiness to invest heavily in the country.

The national president (E) was accompanied by the president of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón; the Deputy Minister of Petroleum, Paula Henao; the Deputy Minister of Gas, Luis González; the Vice President of Petroleum Exploration and Production of Venezuela (PDVSA), Eduardo Pinto; the Executive Vice President of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Giovanni Martínez; and the Vice President of Petroleum Gas of Venezuela (PDVSA), Janier Viloria.
