President-in-charge of Venezuela is received by the Prime Minister of Barbados

Rodríguez and Mottley hold a private conversation before continuing with the meetings set out in the bilateral agenda

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, was received this Monday by the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, at the official residence Ilaro Court, in Bridgetown, as part of her work agenda in the Caribbean country.

The meeting comes after the meeting held by the Venezuelan president with the President of the Republic of Barbados, Jeffrey Bostic, at the beginning of the work program planned for this official visit.

Rodríguez and Mottley hold a private conversation before continuing with the meetings set out in the bilateral agenda.

The presence of the president in charge at Ilaro Court underlines the cooperation between Caracas and Bridgetown, based on a shared strategic vision and the construction of an integrated region.

The meeting was attended by the Chancellor of the Republic, Iván Gil; the Sectorial Vice President of Communication and Culture and Minister of Information, Miguel Pérez Pirela; the Minister of the Office of the Presidency, Juan Escalona; as well as other authorities of the Venezuelan Government and representatives of the Government of Barbados.

The agenda continues with a strategic dialogue aimed at strengthening cooperation mechanisms between the two countries.
