This Thursday, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting with the Secretary General of the International Italian-Latin American Organization (IILA), Giorgio Silli; with the firm objective of strengthening ties of mutual cooperation.

The Secretary General of the Italian-Latin American Organization was welcomed at the Miraflores Palace, with the purpose of verifying the common agenda regarding international cooperation, economic development, energy transition and diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Italy and the intergovernmental organization.

During the exchange, the authorities addressed the potential for development in strategic projects, evaluation of joint initiatives in different areas, technical training and the institutional strengthening that the organization actively promotes in the Latin American region.

In this regard, it is important to mention that, during the activity, Ana Cecilia Bonilla Taviani, advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic, was present.

On behalf of the Venezuelan delegation, the President in Charge was accompanied by Jannier Viloria, Vice President of Petroleum Gas of Venezuela (PDVSA); Oliver Blanco, Deputy Minister for Europe and North America of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs; María Elena Uzzo, ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Italian Republic; among other authorities.
