President in charge Rodríguez urges security officials to transform their ties with citizens

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, calls for a profound transformation in the link between citizens and security officials.

This Friday night, at the presentation of the balance sheet of the Amnesty and Democratic Coexistence Act, the Head of State in charge emphasized that it is essential to establish a new paradigm of relationship that promotes trust, mutual respect and collaboration, elements that she considers indispensable to guarantee peace and public order under an approach of protection and service to the Venezuelan people.

The proposal seeks the security official to act as a guarantor of citizen rights, overcoming past practices and consolidating an institutional culture where respect for human dignity is the norm.
