The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that the country is ready and prepared for a negotiation process with the Federative Republic of Guyana.
This was highlighted on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 13, after the participation of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague in defense of Venezuela in the dispute over the territory of Guiana Essequiba.
“You have no other option, the path is negotiation and it must now definitely be understood. In the defense, it was very clear, the rights were very well defended both by our officials and by the lawyers of the Republic who left the history of our country and the legitimate rights of Venezuela very well established.”
