The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his program With Maduro+, asked King Felipe VI and the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, to hand over those involved in the death of Orlando Figuera to the Venezuelan authorities based on their being tried for the crime committed.

The Attorney General's Office has requested it multiple times; I ask the Head of Government, the judicial authorities to hand over to the Venezuelan justice system the fascists who burned Orlando Figuera alive,” he urged.

The murder of the 22-year-old Orlando Figuera, a victim of first and second degree burns, is attributed to a violent mob of opposition extremism during the guarimbas of 2017.

“Crimes like that of Orlando Figuera must never be repeated. These people cannot return, they cannot return to their fascism, they can never return to their hatred,” he emphasized.
