President Maduro: Bolívar is born every day as the historic force of an entire people

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed this Thursday that the Liberator Simon Bolivar marks the course of the revolutionary process that is destined to consolidate the independence of all of America.

“Today we celebrate the immense and luminous life of our liberating father Simon Bolivar. On July 24, 1783, the man of difficulties was born in Caracas, the man who would forever mark the historical evolution of our America with his infinite greatness, with his genius, with his incomparable magnitude of leader, Bolivar, yes, Bolívar,” said the Head of State during his message at the central event to commemorate the 242nd anniversary of the birth of the Father of the Fatherland.

He stressed that Bolívar is “great among the greats of a heroic continent” and “there is no place in this world where the echo of his name does not resound”.

The Dignitary pointed out that “Bolivarians of the 21st century, we deeply feel that Bolivar is in us and in you, women, every day it is born as the historical force of an entire people, it is born as a constructive, creative, liberating force, it is born as the light that marks and illuminates our path, it is born as a sublime encouragement to face and overcome so many difficulties, so many adversities”.
