The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on teachers, students and managers to form, within the campuses, “powerful movements” that promote transformations, demands, take care of schools, etc.

During the fully rehabilitated delivery of the Achelpohl Urban Educational Unit in Caracas, the Head of State indicated that these organizational structures must have clear ideas about education, example.

“That organization must also express itself outside the campuses. Outside, we must make a point and circle, all the Community Councils, Communes, communities, accompanying, embracing, supporting their school and their high school,” he stressed.

In this regard, Maduro stressed that this organization must result in the deepening of democracy in the country. “Democracy cannot depend on a man or a party, true democracy, in the Bolivarian vision, is direct, complete, everyday. Democracy is deciding every day in the community, in the classrooms, in the corner, the issues of life, culture, politics,” he stressed.
