The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced the arrival in the Homeland and freed from the concentration camps of the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, the 252 Venezuelans who were kidnapped in the Confinement Center for Terrorism (CECOT).

In this regard, he argued that in order to achieve the return of these Venezuelans, “we handed over 10 convicted and confessed foreign terrorists, CIA agents, who during the months of February onward intended to carry out violent actions and assassination of political leaders in Venezuela.”

This was stated at the Polyhedron of Caracas, where he led the Peasant Congress to begin the formation of Peasant Councils in Rural Communities. “Terrorists for innocents, that was the formula,” he said.

“Today Venezuela is victorious,” he said.

The head of state thanked the President of the United States, Donald Trump for rectifying this situation, Pope Leo XIV, the cardinal of El Salvador, Gregorio Chávez, “for what he courageously did for the boys, in the same way, I also thank former president Rodríguez Zapatero.”
