President Maduro celebrates 46th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution

This Saturday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, through his Telegram channel, celebrated the 46th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution.

“We celebrate as unforgettable that July 19, 1979, the victory of the Sandinista National Liberation Front impacted the youth of Latin America and the Caribbean; at the age of 16, I experienced that insurrection and the Nicaraguan war intensely,” wrote the head of state.

In the audiovisual field, President Maduro said that “it is a glorious and heroic story that the people of Nicaragua have experienced. Every time we visit your land, we feel the energetic throbbing that unites us in the resistance against imperialism,” he added.

“We admire their struggles, their glories and their example, which is a beacon for our peoples. Always united, Venezuela and Nicaragua, for the cause of freedom and the dignity of Our America!” , President Maduro concluded.
