President Maduro: Chávez is more alive than ever, in the thought, action and work of millions

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, praised the indelible legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez this Monday, when he celebrated his 71st birthday, in Sabaneta, Barinas state.

“In the land of Sabaneta, and all over the Homeland, we come together to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the birth of Commander Chávez, 'El Arañero', the most beloved President in our history, after the Liberator Simon Bolivar, the best president of Venezuela in more than a hundred years. What a pride!” , said the Head of State on his Telegram channel.

In his message, President Maduro emphasized that Commander Chávez “is a 21st Century Giant who transcended the country and our America, being a recognized and remembered leader throughout the world.”

He emphasized that the Supreme Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution “is more alive than ever, in the thought, action and work of millions of men and women. He left us a clear road map: the construction of Bolivarian Socialism, the union of our peoples and definitive independence,” he stressed.

The Dignitary recalled the teachings of Chávez to be an exemplary revolutionary, with a life full of joy, renewed hope, optimism and desire to fight, to face difficulties, “with a smile and faith in the People”.

“There is no absence, but rather a permanent presence of their ideal and their revolutionary drive; their sworn commitment to advance in the construction of a free, independent, sovereign and socialist homeland, continues to motivate us. Chávez was a hurricane of passion, love, nobility, humility and simplicity, all that strength is the sacred flame of the good and beautiful Homeland that we continue to build. Chavez Lives!” , he wrote.
