President Maduro: Commander Hugo Chávez was destined to be the great redeemer of the humble people

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Monday, July 28, celebrated the 71st birthday of the Eternal Commander, Hugo Chávez, about whom he emphasized that from his birth he was destined to be the great redeemer of the humble and Bolivarian People and to rescue the figure of the Liberator Simon Bolivar.

“Honor and glory to our Commander Hugo Chávez. On a day like today, back in Sabaneta de Barinas, that little boy arrived, that little guy, who was named Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, and since he was born he was destined to be the great resurrector of the Liberator Simon Bolivar,” he emphasized.

He stressed that “there is no better way to celebrate the 71 years of life of Commander Hugo Chávez, than with the great victory of yesterday, Sunday, July 27, 2025. We have won 285 municipalities, 85% of all of Venezuela.”

This was stated at the Miraflores Palace, where he received the march held on the occasion of the 71st birthday of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez; one year after his victory for the Presidency of the Republic, in the electoral process of July 2024, as well as the victory in the Municipal Elections 2025 and the massive participation in the first National Popular Consultation of Youth.

Regarding the elections last Sunday, he said that “it is a popular victory”.

“It is important to have the historical conscience to know where we come from and of the enormous effort we have made to guarantee peace,” he said.

He stressed that the march was accompanied by a bright sun, and then the rain came. “If there is sun and rain, it's because Bolívar and Chávez are there, two spirits that guide us and will continue to guide us,” he said.
