President Maduro congratulates Luis Abinader after his re-election as head of state of the Dominican Republic

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated his counterpart from the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, on Monday, after being re-elected as head of state of the Caribbean country in the elections last Sunday.

“My congratulations to the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, for his extraordinary electoral triumph, which leads him to a new presidential term,” said the Venezuelan Prime Minister through his account on the social network X.

In his message, President Maduro confirmed that they will continue to “advance along the path of bilateral relations of brotherhood, of Latin American and Caribbean union between our peoples.”
