President Maduro congratulates the National Robotics Team for a silver medal in Greece

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, extended his recognition and congratulations to the National Robotics Team, which won the silver medal in the international First Global Challenge 2024 championship in Athens, capital of Greece.
“You are the Genius Generation that sets our country apart. Girls, boys, keep going, dreaming, moving forward and shining with science and technology. A big hug and all my recognition!” , said the head of state, on his Instagram account, in which he posted a testimonial video of the time of the award ceremony.
Between September 26 and 29, the 2024 World Robotics Championship was held, in which the Venezuelan national team excelled in its participation, winning a total of four prizes.
The selection, made up of university students and professors from Zulia, received the silver medal from the International Unit “Dr. Mae Jemison Award”, as the best international representation in building a better future.
