President Maduro: Election of Justices of the Peace Evidences the Empowerment of the People's Power

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the upcoming elections of justices of the peace throughout the country demonstrate the empowerment of popular and communal power.

As he said in a new Maduro Live de Repente, broadcast this Thursday, December 5. The Head of State urged that community sanctions be resumed hand in hand with popular assemblies where the candidates who ran out of “conscience and high values and in response to the constitutional legal call of a country that wants to continue to transform” are presented.

In this regard, he stressed that a true revolution must have a “permanent character, permanent change and permanent transformation because it is about building a new society”.
