President Maduro: Everything points to the fact that in 2025 we will have 9% growth in GDP

This Wednesday, September 10, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted his aspiration that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will once again reach 9% as part of the consolidation of the country's sustained economic growth.

“Everything suggests that this year we are going to have 9% growth in Gross Domestic Product and the economy continues to diversify, a new economy,” highlighted Productive Work Day dedicated to National Food Security and Sovereignty, from the poultry company Industrias Pollo Premium 5.8 C.A., located in the Industrial Zone of Los Cerritos, Carrizal municipality of Miranda state.

In this regard, he stressed that businessmen, together with the organized working class, are more united than ever to guarantee the economic development of the nation.

“From the missiles of economic war we reinvent ourselves, from sanctions and the economic blockade, we reinvent ourselves. Today we are a better people and we produce what we eat, we work and we guarantee economic stability in a miraculous way,” he said.

The head of state emphasized that this miracle was done by the people of Venezuela, “let's not expect anything but from ourselves. We did it, now we are going for a higher miracle scale: to become major food exporters and for supermarket distribution chains to expand throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. We'll see.”

“Venezuela will never humble itself before any empire,” he said.
