President Maduro highlights Venezuela's growth in the production of goods and services

This Wednesday, June 26, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted that Venezuela is making positive progress in the growth of the production of goods and services for the people.

“We are making progress and we are talking about real growth, growth of goods and services, the growth of economic benefits and not speculative and financial growth of roles as is happening elsewhere,” said the National President during the National Council for Productive Economy - Western Region.

He stressed that today's growth in Venezuela is not like before, which was only measured by the sale of oil. “What about the economy that produces potatoes, meat, milk, pants, shirts and the economy that produces goods and services to satisfy people's lives? That's why there are dollars, we all import them, but that paradigm is over, let it never come back, that paradigm will not return,” he said.

In that sense, he called for deepening the concept of the production of goods and services, in order to break with the paradigm that this should only matter in Venezuela.
