President Maduro: I am happy to be able to deliver health and education works for the people

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Saturday, the works delivered in the states of Nueva Esparta and Monagas, during a working day in those entities held yesterday, because they were executed at a time when the country is subject to imperial sanctions.

During an audio broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the Head of State summarized his tour of the states of Nueva Esparta and Monagas and emphasized that in Venezuela no one is going to privatize the rights of the people, especially in the areas of education and health.

“This delivery is for the People, no one is going to privatize the people's right to health, on the contrary, we must recover everything that needs to be recovered and built what is new so that we can reach the goal of having the best free, quality, high scientific public health system that Venezuela has ever had,” emphasized the President, referring to the opposition's plans to privatize sectors with high social impact such as health and education.

He stressed that despite having limited resources due to the sanctions and blockade against Venezuela, the Romulo Gallegos Experimental University was inaugurated in the city of Maturín, Monagas state; in the San Juan parish, Díaz municipality, Nueva Esparta state , the president inaugurated the Virgen del Valle Type III Hospital, as well as the Hugo Chávez section of the Bicentennial highway in Nueva Esparta.
