President Maduro: I brought Christmas forward because it is a vaccine for happiness in the face of threats

President Nicolás Maduro assured that he brought Christmas forward because it is a vaccine of happiness in the face of threats.

During a press conference with national and international media, Maduro asserted that he re-decreed the Christmas advance as he has done in previous years as a vaccine of joy and happiness in the face of psychological warfare that seeks to make us bitter, “no one here is bitter.”

“Advancing Christmas is like a call to the baby Jesus, to our God to protect us,” said the Head of State.

The President emphasized that the Venezuelan people are at peace, continuing with their recreational, cultural and religious activities. “Over the weekend we had more than 300 concerts, dances, serenades in the villages of the East, as part of the celebration of the Virgin of the Valley.”
