The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that in the negotiation carried out by the Bolivarian Government aimed at achieving the release of the 252 Venezuelan migrants kidnapped in El Salvador, Nayib Bukele played no role, “he doesn't exist in this negotiation, we talk to the owner of the circus.”
During an interview with TeleSUR in the framework of the 20th Anniversary of this multiplatform news, where he stated that at no time did we “get along with this clown Nazi who rules El Salvador”.
He highlighted the serious conditions in which “these 252 innocent Venezuelan boys were received and were, whose only crime is to have migrated, which is not a crime, it is a human right.”
“They were captured in the United States, some were already living there and others when they arrived at the border and tried to fix their papers to enter legally,” he explained.
The head of state also highlighted the discrediting campaign promoted by the fascist extremist right. “Leopoldo López is one of those responsible for having imposed the story of the Aragua Train in the United States,” he denounced.
“They are responsible for the coyotes and for having asked that the 252 kidnapped young people be taken to El Salvador. They are cowards, without morals and the people of Venezuela know it,” he said.
He also commented on several complaints and testimonies regarding the mistreatment received at the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT).
“The mistreatment and abuse are terrible. They were tortured and beaten daily. And who's running this? Nayib Bukele,” he said.
He stressed that “it is said that more than 427 people have died, these are registered and documented cases, others have been mutilated. Never has a Salvadoran been able to leave in good condition to denounce these treatments.”
In this regard, he pointed out that it is thanks to the release of Venezuelan migrants that “this barbarism led by Bukele is becoming known.”
