President Maduro inaugurates Ali Primera Extreme Skate Park

This Monday, December 30, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, inaugurated the Ali Primera Skate Park, located in Ali Primera Park, on Sucre Avenue, Libertador municipality, in the city of Caracas.

During the activity, the Venezuelan Head of State was accompanied by Cilia Flores, First Combatant of the Republic; Admiral in Chief Carmen Meléndez, Mayor of Caracas; Nahum Fernández, Head of Government; Grecia Colmenares, Minister of Popular Power for Youth and Secretary General of Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV); and Josué Lorca, Minister for Popular Power for Ecosocialism; Arnaldo Sánchez; Sports Minister; and the president of INPARQUES, Rosinés Chávez.

This enclosure was built with recycled materials from ground rubble (instead of sand) mixed to make concrete, the Skate Park has a total area of 2,200 square meters, the street track area covers 2,100 m², with benches and railings between 30 and 40 centimeters high, the structure includes a central platform with railings, walls and stairs for inclined jumps; a central polygon with a height of 90 centimeters; and a bowl (pot) with a surface of 95 m² divided into three levels of depth: 1.20 meters, 1.50 meters and 1.80 meters.

In addition, the park has a 100 m² service area that includes a canteen, a skateboard school, a warehouse for materials for sports mass, a terrace, two rehabilitated bathrooms and the rehabilitation of a drinking water well.
