President Maduro: It is necessary to democratize social networks

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a live broadcast this Sunday through his account on the social network Tik Tok, highlighted the importance of democratizing social networks.

In this regard, he specified that it is necessary for social networks to be at the “service of peace, stability, truth, democracy and culture”, while refusing to allow them to censor the truth of peoples, specifically of Venezuelans.

In that sense, the head of state explained that “we have the only force that can break the ban, we have the mass consciousness of a people who know that they are the majority,” he said.

Maduro said that “there are millions who have a telephone, a tablet, so I have called our people and all the good people in the world to begin the great task of democratizing communication, of multiplying ourselves, among ourselves and beyond.”
