The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, led the Extraordinary Plenary of the organization's V Red Awning Congress and the IV Youth Congress (JPSUV).

The purpose of the meeting is to promote new strategic methods that contribute to the defense of the sovereignty and peace of the Nation.

In addition, the event was attended by more than 10,000 militants, including revolutionary youth, who discussed the creation of new tasks within the block, as well as the importance of knowing in depth the 7 Transformations of the Plan of the Fatherland 2025-2031, issued by the Head of State in order to move towards the new era of socialism promoted by the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez.
