President Maduro orders deployment of 25,000 men and women from the FANB to protect borders and coasts

President Nicolás Maduro called for increasing the deployment of men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to reinforce the Operations of the Rapid Reaction Units (URRAS) in the Binational Zone of Peace with Colombia and the Caribbean façade, from La Guajira to Falcón.

In addition, the Head of State indicated that he also requested to reinforce all Operations on the eastern Caribbean-Atlantic façade of the states Nueva Esparta, Sucre and Delta Amacuro.

“This mobilization has as its primary objective the defense of national sovereignty, the security of the country and the fight for peace. We Venezuelans defend Venezuela!” , said Maduro through his Telegram channel.

It should be noted that in the first phase of this initiative, President Maduro deployed 15,000 men and women, which also includes means, troops, aviation, river deployment, drones, in order to protect the Venezuelan border from drug trafficking and terrorism, and thus guarantee peace throughout the axis.
